Kendra Nielson is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in couples and family relationships, trauma-informed care, and psychological well-being. She founded Fulfillment Therapy to bring evidence-informed mental health tools and education to individuals, couples, and families through clinical practice, psychoeducational programs, and public education.
Her work is informed by positive psychology and human flourishing. Kendra has specialized training in EMDR, Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Levels 1 and 2), and Clinical Supervision. She has also recently completed the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) as part of her continued professional development and progress toward advanced clinical licensure. She is currently pursuing doctoral study, with a research interest in human flourishing and the factors that contribute to meaningful relationships and well-being.
Alongside her private practice at Valley Summit Counseling, Kendra has spent the past several years developing Fulfillment Therapy as a public education platform. Her work includes a podcast with more than 350 episodes, six original psychoeducational programs, and free educational resources designed to make psychological knowledge and practical tools more accessible to the broader community.
